This is a great photo. I love the colors, the groom's expression and the way it makes you think. What is he looking at? The background helps to bring out the colors and textures in the groom's clothes. The only thing that catches my eye is the edge below the right shoulder. I find it a bit sharp and would like to see it softened ever so slightly. A beautifully capture Portrait Klaus

About the sharp edge below the shoulder, do you mean on the edge of his jacket in the bright area or in the red thing he has over his shoulder?

This is such a striking, classical portrait! He looks so regal, so princely. The details in the fabrics are simply amazing - lovely lighting and exposure.


I also see a slight over-sharpening in the edges of his clothing (against the background), but I'm thinking that this may be the result of jpeg compression for posting?
